Alaskan Nuggets

Makes a tasty addition to your appetizer tray.

1 1/2 C Fresh or canned salmon
1/2 C Cooked, mashed potatoes
1 tbsp Minced celery
1 tbsp Butter or margarine
1/2 tsp Salt
Pepper to taste
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 lb Sharp cheddar in 1/2 inch cubes
1 Egg, beaten
1 C Sifted bread crumbs

1. Remove all bones and skin from salmon and mix well with mashed potatoes.
2. Cook the celery and onion in butter until tender, then mix with the salmon.
3. Add the seasonings and shape mixture into little balls the size of a walnut.
4. Push a cube of cheese into the center of each ball and reshape the balls. Then roll in the sifted bread crumbs and fry in enough fat to cover at 375 degrees.
