Asparagus Rolls

20 slices White bread (crusts removed)
3 oz Bleu cheese
1 8-oz pkg Cream cheese, softened
1 Egg, beaten
1 14 1/2-oz can Asparagus spears, drained

1 C Margarine, melted

1. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread. Combine bleu cheese, cream cheese and egg in mixing bowl, mixing well. Spread evenly on bread, covering to edges.
2. Place 1 asparagus spear on each slice of bread; roll up and secure with 3 toothpicks. Dip in melted butter. Place on a baking sheet and freeze.
3. Partially thaw asparagus rolls and slice each into 3 equal pieces. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

Makes 60 appetizer servings.
