Cheese Fondue

1/2 C Water
1/2 C Sauterne wine
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Garlic powder

5 C Processed Swiss American cheese — shredded
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp White pepper

Heat wine, butter and garlic powder in double boiler. Add shredded cheese and nutmeg. Add seasoning salt. Stir until smooth. Pour into foundue pot and keep hot. Use rye bread or bread sticks to dip.
