Cheese Puffs

1 loaf Unsliced bread
3 oz Whipped cream cheese
1 C Grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 C Margarine
2 Egg whites, beaten

Remove crust and slice bread into 1 inch cubes.
Melt cheeses and margarine in top of double broiler. Stir vigorously after melted to mix margarine and cheese completely. Remove from heat and fold in egg whites.
Spear bread cubes with a two pronged fork and dip into mixture. Shake gently and place on a cookie sheet. Chill overnight or freeze.
Defrost, if frozen and bake at 400° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Yields: 50 puffs.
