Crispy Won Tons and Dipping Sauce

Won Tons
1 lb pkg Won Ton skins
3/4 lb Ground pork
8 Water chestnuts–chopped
1/4 C Green onion–finely chopped
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Corn starch
1/2 tsp Fresh grated ginger or 3/4 tsp ground ginger

1. Thaw won ton skins, if frozen.
2. Mix meat with all remaining ingredients.
3. Shape won ton. Place 1/2 teaspoon meat mixture on center of each skin. Fold into triangle. Turn top of triangle to meet fold. Moisten corners with water. Over right corner to meet left corner. Press firmly.

4. Deep fat fry at 350° a few at a time until browned.
5. Serve warm with catsup/mustard or sweet sour sauce.

Makes 80 appetizers.

You can freeze the won tons before cooking and use as needed (wanted)…..

Dipping Sauce for Won Tons or Pot Stickers
3 tbsp Soy sauce
2 tbsp Water
2 tbsp Dry sherry
1 tbsp Green onion–sliced
2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Sesame seeds
3 dashes Hot pepper sauce
