Southwestern Pesto Toast

Olive oil
Minced garlic
Chopped olives
Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves

Crushed and dried red peppers
Crusty french bread, sliced moderately thin

1. In a bowl, combine equal parts of the first five ingredients. Mix in a dash of crushed and dried red peppers.
2. Spread an ample tablespoon of the mixture on each slice of bread. Arrange slices on baking sheet and bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes.
3. Serve as appetizer or with soup and salad. For culinary fearless, the mixture can also be used as a dip!
