Sour Cherry Icing

Use to ice Cherry Pudding Cake

1/2 c sugar
1/2 t salt
1 cup water
2 T cornstarch

3/4 c sour cherry juice, reserved from cake ingredients
1 t almond flavoring

Heat juice, water, sugar and salt until it starts to boil.
Add cornstarch and stir till clear and thickened. Add almond flavoring and stir well.
