Crockery Cooker Barbecued Ribs

From one of those supermarket checkout books (from 1995) called “Easy Family Suppers.”

2 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 c. beer or beef broth
2 to 3 lb. country-style pork ribs
2 med. onions, chopped (1 cup)

1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
1 tsp. finely chopped fresh garlic

In crockery cooker stir together all ingredients. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours (high for 4 to 6 hours) or until ribs are fork tender.

Yield: 4 servings.
