Crockery Pot – No Peek Beef Casserole

2 lbs. stew beef – cut into 1 inch pieces
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 C red wine
1 can cream of mushroom soup

4 oz. can mushrooms – whole, drained
1/4 C tapioca (quick cooking)

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Stir together well. Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours (high 4 to 6 hours). Serve over noodles or rice. this recipe may be doubled for 5-quart models.
