Crockery Pot Rump Roast

Simple and easy. Only four ingredients makes this extremely quick to start in the mornings for a delicious meal at night.

1 lb. rump roast, trimmed
1 env. Italian salad dressing mix

1 env. Au Jus gravy mix
1 c. water

Place roast in Crockery Pot. Mix water with seasoning and gravy mixes. Pour over roast. Cook on low for 5 hours or until done.

    This crockpot roast with “au jus” gravy plus the packet of Italian Seasoning and cup of water was so salty we could not eat it. What am I doing wrong?
