Indian Pudding

This is a traditional New England dessert.

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. dark molasses
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter

1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
11/2 qt. hot milk

Mix all ingredients in Crockery Pot. Cook 6 hours on lot. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Serves 6 to 8.
