Barley with Mushrooms and Green Onions

While surfing the net, I saw this recipe, tried it, liked it and wanted to share it.

1 c. barley
1 can roasted garlic chicken broth (141/2 oz. – about 2 cups)
3 green onions

4 to 6 oz. fresh or canned mushrooms, sliced
salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in Crockery Pot. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
