Crockery Pot Beans

This recipe was a mistake I made. Thought I was following Susan’s recipe called “Bean Pot Medley” but not having it in front of me, I make a few changes (it seemed logical at the time). My crew loved it this way so I wrote it down quick.

6 cans beans, drained and rinsed (any combination red, pinto, navy, black, even pork & beans) (151/2 oz. cans)
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 can tomato sauce (medium size can)

2 cans diced tomatoes (28 oz. each)
1/2 tsp. Nature’s Seasons
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Dump everything in the Crockery Pot. Stir gently just to mix. Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours. Good served as a side dish or as a meal. Adjust salt content after cooking time is done.
