Thelma’s Beans

This was my recipe, but my Mom takes it to all the dinners at her Senior Citizens complex and everyone loves it – so she decided it was “Thelma’s Beans” (her name is Thelma).

1 lb. ground beef
4 cans pinto beans
1 can diced Ortega chilis
1 can diced (or sliced) black olives

1 jar pimentos
1 jar green chili salsa (lately I can’t find this so substitute any brand chunky garden salsa)
1 onion, diced
jalapenos to taste (optional)

Brown the meat and dump everything into Crockery Pot – cook on high for a couple of hours or low for 4 – 6 hours.
