Crab Spread

You can substitute small cooked shrimp, surimi (artificial crabmeat), or smoked salmon or trout for the crabmeat in this delicious recipe.

8-oz. pkg. low fat cream cheese, softened 6-oz. can crabmeat, drained and picked over
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. finely chopped pecans

1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish (I use the creamy style)

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Chill several hours to blend flavors.

Yield: 1-1/2 cups or 24 servings

Serve on small crackers, such as Ritz or Wheat Thins
