Spinach Creme

NOTES : Good with croutons, crackers or raw vegetabes.

16 ounces spinach (frozen)
8 ounces cream cheese
3 tablespoons milk (approximate)
1/8 teaspoon mace
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons green onion, chopped fine
1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon lemon thyme (fresh, finely chopped)(optional)
6 slices bacon

1. Thaw spinach and press out any liquid thru a strainer.
2. Combine all remaining ingredients with spinach except bacon. Check for seaoning
3. Cut bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and fry until crisp. Drain well and add 1/2 to spinach cheese mixture. Chill well.
4. Sprinkle remaining bacon on cheese when ready to serve.
