Touchdown Cheese Spread

Even if you’re not a football fanatic, you’ll go nuts over our super-tasty almond-covered cheese spread!

1 C Natural sliced almonds from 1 (8-oz) pkg., finely chopped
2 pkgs (8 oz. each) Cream cheese, slightly softened, divided
2 cont (8 oz. each) Port wine cheese food, such as WisPride
4 Scallions, chopped, 1/4 cup
1/4 C Prepared horseradish, squeezed dry
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Paprika

Crackers, pretzels, vegetable dippers

1. Preheat over to 350°F.
2. Spread almonds on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes; cool.
3. Transfer 1/4 cup cream cheese to food storage bag with one corner snipped.
4. Combine remaining cream cheese with next 6 ingredients.
5. On platter form into football. Toss almonds with paprika; press onto cheese ball.
6. Press reserved cream cheese in lines over football for “laces.” Cover; refrigerate until ready to serve.
7. Serve with crackers, pretzels and vegetable dippers.

Makes 4 cups.
