Humas is a middle eastern food…it is traditionally spread in pita bread…or can be used as a dip.

2 30 oz. cans Chick peas (garbonzo beans)
approx.1/4 C Lemon juice
approx. 1/4 to 1/2 C Tahinni (Ground sesame in health food or mid-east store)
3 or 4 lg Leaves (sections) fresh garlic

1. In a blender put in the garlic and chop it up.
2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3. Add one can of chick peas undrained.
4. Add tahinnie, blend.
5. Add drained can of peas and blend.
6. Chill before serving.
7. Better if you let it chill several hours so the flavors can blend…
